TOWN OF HUME

MAY 2, 2007

Supervisor Craig Smith convened a special meeting of the Hume Town Board on May 2, 2007, at 10:00 AM at the Town Office Building, 20 N. Genesee Street, Fillmore, New York.

Present were: Supervisor Smith, Councilman Dennis Ricketts, Councilman Bryce Bower, Councilman Robert Beil, and Clerk Sondra MacEwan.

The meeting was called to discuss a proposal and agreement from E & M Engineering to draft the grant application for repair and armoring of Cold Creek.

Supervisor Smith had met with Chris Ernst of E&M Engineering to do a site evaluation and discuss the application. From this meeting, three worksite priorities were set for this application:

(a) from the railroad bed to the bridge on Route 19 on the well-house (north) side of the creek,

(b) from the railroad bed to the bridge on the Little League (south) side of the creek, and

(c) from the bridge on Route 19 east toward the Genesee River.

Councilman Ricketts moved that the Supervisor be authorized to sign the agreement with E&M Engineering for the preparation and submission of the FEMA Hazard Mitigation Grant at a cost not to exceed $1950.00. Councilman Beil seconded the motion. 4 ayes, 0 noes.

Councilman Bower moved that the meeting be adjourned, and Councilman Ricketts seconded. 4 ayes, 0 noes. Meeting adjourned at 10:05 AM.
