TOWN OF HUME

September 21, 2011

A regular meeting of the Hume Town Board, Allegany County, New York was held at the Town of Hume Museum, 10842 Claybed Road, Hume, New York on September 21, 2011. Supervisor Dennis Ricketts called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM, and he led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.

Town officials in attendance included: Supervisor Dennis Ricketts; Council members Christopher Austin, Bryce Bower, Gregory McKurth, and Daniel Miller; Historian Rondus Miller; and Clerk Sondra MacEwan.

TENTATIVE BUDGET

The Board focused on the General Account of the 2012 Tentative Budget. Each line item was examined and adjusted where it was deemed necessary and sensible.

Particular items addressed were salaries, planning for the Museum building, use of remaining 2011 funds, preserving the recreation program, use of personnel, and the 2% tax cap on the 2012 budget.

Councilman Austin moved that the meeting be adjourned, and Supervisor Ricketts seconded the motion. 5 ayes, 0 noes.

Meeting adjourned at 9:50 PM.

The next regular meeting of the Hume Town Board will be September 28, 2011 at 7:00 PM at the Museum.
