TOWN OF HUME

September 24, 2009

A Budget Preparation meeting of the Hume Town Board, Allegany County, New York was held at the Town of Hume Museum, 10842 Claybed Road, Hume, New York on September 24, 2009. Supervisor Smith opened the meeting at 7:00 PM and led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.

Officials in attendance included: Supervisor Craig Smith; Council members Bryce Bower, Dennis Ricketts, and Daniel Miller; and Clerk Sondra MacEwan. Councilman Robert Beil was absent.

Town Clerk MacEwan presented the Tentative 2010 Town of Hume Budget to the Board.

Line by line, the Board examined the proposals for the General, Fire Protection District, Lighting Districts, and Highway accounts. They compared the fiscal summary from 2009 and the proposed 2010 budgets. Changes were made that will be reflected in the Preliminary 2010 Budget.

Councilman Bower moved that the meeting be adjourned, and Councilman Miller seconded. 4 ayes, 0 noes. Meeting adjourned at 8:20 PM.

The next budget work session will be on September 29, 2009 at 7:00 PM at the Museum.
