TOWN OF HUME
SEPTEMBER 27, 2012
The Hume Town Board, Allegany County, New York held a Budget Meeting on September 27, 2012 at the Town of Hume Museum, 10842 Claybed Road, Hume, New York. Supervisor Ricketts called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM, and he then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.
Officials attending: Supervisor Ricketts; Councilmen Christopher Austin, Bruce Hinz, Daniel Miller and Gregory McKurth; Water/Sewer Superintendent Dana Potter; Deputy Town Clerk Joanne Cockle; and Clerk Sondra MacEwan.
REVENUE ANTICIPATION NOTE (09-A-12)
Councilman Christopher Austin moved adoption of a resolution authorizing the issuance of a Revenue Anticipation Note not to exceed $400,000.00 in anticipation of Federal Emergency Management Agency Funds to be received during the fiscal year 2013-2014. Councilman McKurth seconded the resolution.

Resolution adopted.
The Board examined the budget expenditures and revenues proposed for the Water and Sewer Departments in 2013. They also considered possible rate changes for customer billing. More study and further information was requested.
The Board also reviewed the Fire Protection District budget. Fire Company representatives will be asked to attend a forthcoming meeting.
Celebrations, fuel charges and policies, and park expenses were also discussed.
A meeting with Tom Swift, Design Manager for the Park Grant was announced for Monday October 1, 2012 at the Town Office.
Councilman Austin moved that the meeting be adjourned, and Councilman Miller seconded. 5 ayes, 0 noes. Meeting adjourned at 8:30 PM.
