TOWN OF HUME
DECEMBER 28, 2010
A
regular meeting of the Hume Town Board, Allegany County, New York was held at
the Town of Hume Museum, 10842 Claybed Road, Hume, New York on December 28,
2010. Supervisor Dennis Ricketts called
the meeting to order at 7:00 PM, and led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.
Town
officials in attendance included:
Supervisor Dennis Ricketts; Council members Christopher Austin, Bryce
Bower; Attorney David Pullen; and Clerk Sondra MacEwan. Councilmen Gregory
McKurth, and Daniel Miller were absent.
Councilman
Austin moved that Merle Buffum be reappointed to the Board of Assessment
Review, and Councilman Bower seconded the motion. 3 ayes, 0 noes.
Mr.
Buffum’s term of office will be 10-01-10 to 09-30-2015.
At
7:05 PM, Councilman Austin moved that the Board enter Executive Session to
discuss possible legal contracts. Councilman Bower seconded. 3 ayes, 0 noes.
The
Board returned to open session at 7:30 PM upon a motion made by Councilman
Austin, seconded by Councilman Bower.
Councilman
Bower moved that the Town of Hume sign a confidentiality and nondisclosure
agreement with Bell Independent Power Corp. Councilman Austin offered the
second to the motion. 3 ayes, 0 noes.
EXECUTIVE
SESSION
The
Board re-entered Executive Session at 7:35 PM to discuss possible legal
contracts and to confer with counsel. They returned to open session at 8:35 PM
upon a motion made by Councilman Austin, seconded by Councilman Bower.
Councilman
Bower moved that the meeting be adjourned, and Councilman Austin seconded. 3
ayes, 0 noes. Meeting adjourned at 8:40 PM>
The
next regular meeting will be January 12, 2011 at 7:00 PM at the Town Museum.
