2004 Fillmore Park Project -- The Town of Hume received a grant in 2004 to upgrade the Fillmore Park, and a 5-year project began. With the aid of Eagle Scout candidates, Town forces, and volunteers, the Park is being reconditioned.   A new pavilion and a landscaped flag pole and Memorial Day site have been completed.  Playground equipment was installed in July 2008, and along with new picnic tables and grills is available for public enjoyment.

Minard Park -- A gazebo on the corner of Main and Torpey Street highlights the Minard Park.  The Town leases the lot for community use.  The Park was the idea of Mathew Brooks, who developed the area for his Eagle Scout Candidacy project.  The landscaped flower beds are maintained by a volunteer group of residents.
