The Town of Hume will be forgiving all past fees that have incurred from delinquent dog licenses for the remainder of July and all of August, 2020 ONLY.  The regular fee of $10.00 is spayed/neutered and $18.00 if not spayed/neutered will still be in effect.

Town of Hume Local Law #2 of 2019 states all dogs in the Town of Hume must be licensed.  Current rabies vaccination must be shown to obtain a license.  Proof of spay or neuter, if applicable, must be shown to obtain the appropriate license.

If any delinquent dog licenses are not updated during July and August 2020; the owner will be fined, ticketed accordingly and taken before the Town of Hume Justice.

As of September 1st, 2020 late fees will resume as follows:

30 days late - $10.00
60 days late - $60.00
90+ days late - $90.00

Workshop for 2021 Budget

Whereas the Town Board of the Town of Hume, Allegany County, New York hereby has scheduled a workshop meeting for the Town Board to begin planning for a New Budget for the Town of Hume. This meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at 6:30 pm at the Town of Hume Museum located on Claybed Rd., Hume, NY. Any interested party may attend this workshop.
